Density of Hair to Use in Hair Systems
For men's hair loss, glandular hair is the hair around the back and sides. The glandular hair will be the healthiest hair in men suffering from typical male pattern baldness. When deciding your hair density make sure you are aware of your density in this area. From our experience, the best looking men's hair systems have the same density (or preferably slightly lower density) as your own natural glandular hair around the back and sides.
For women's hair loss it is slightly different because women tend to suffer more from 'diffused' hair loss, where the natural glandular hair thins across the scalp reducing the overall density of hair. Women tend to have higher density hair systems because a good volume of hair looks amazing.
However, as a guideline to both men and women, it is an absolute 'NO NO' to have a Light Density Glandular area and a Heavy Density in the hair system. This will look unrealistic and you will be asking for trouble, by trouble we mean, comments like "How is it that you have so much hair on the top?"

NOTES FOR MEN
Many male hair wearers make the mistake of having too much density put into their hair systems, the reason being, the more hair the longer it will last scenario. This doesn't help the natural look. hair4all's affordable pricing means that you do not have to fall into this predicament.
For men, if you have hardly any glandular hair, less than 40% then you should order an Extra Light Density throughout the hair system. If you really desire a fuller head of hair you must make the template larger, then grow your glandular hair longer and also create a longer style for your hair system. In this case order a Light to Medium density.
hair4all's hair systems look natural, but please do yourself a favour and choose a realistic hair density for your hair system, Light to Medium is a good bench mark.
We have photographed each density sample on a lace material attached to a glass mannequin. The added benefit from this is you can see how natural the front hairline looks with the different densities. |

Phil Osmond on Base Materials and Densities: I myself wore hair systems at the beginning that were bulky and full of hair, that was my choice and it was a choice based on cost. I was paying thousands for a hair system and it made sense to make it tough and put a heavy density of hair into the base to counter for hair shedding. It had to be done to warrant the charge. Looking back and seeing my pictures from that time. My hair didn’t look natural, as it was too much of everything. Now with the cost of a hair system at an affordable price you do not have to pack your hair system full of hair. The base materials are skin like and the less density you have in a hair system the more natural it looks. hair4all brings this to you as we WILL NOT sell an unrealistic design to anyone. We would rather individuals stay as they are, than to look unnatural in front of their peers. As you can see the base materials we use are translucent, even without any hair vented into them and attached to a skin tone, they are natural looking. Adding a reasonable density to the base creates a fantastic hair system. We want all of our clients to look natural and there is NO reason why this should not happen 'every time'. We at hair4all stand by our quality and natural looking hair systems that we back it up with a NO QUESTIONS ASKED 100% MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE. 'TRY US' - YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE AND A NATURAL LOOKING HEAD OF HAIR TO GAIN. |
