Every hair system should fit an individual perfectly and this can only be achieved by making a mold of the individual's scalp. Most other hair replacement companies cleverly disguise this fact by offering to sell you an Introductory Kit (including videos, hair colour rings, brochures, molding materials, etc) and then re-imbursing you when you make your first purchase.

Some of these Introductory Kits offered by some companies include molding materials that can only be used once, but using our techniques you can practice as many times as required in order to get the template made correctly. It will cost you no more than £5 to make a template if you do this yourelf.

hair4all is different in that we want you to know what your involvement is right from the start. That is why we state the importance of making a template, and show you the techniques so you can do this at home if you prefer to use the 'self-service' option.

Also, don't forget to read about Hair Samples as they allow us to match the hair for your hair system to your own natural hair.

We would prefer you use the services of an Affiliated Stylist as they are fully trained in making templates and taking hair samples. There is no charge for this service.

Making a Template by Yourself

Over the last 18 years in the industry we have made thousands of templates for clients visiting hair replacement salons (or studios) that we have worked in. Knowing that this was an important part of the whole concept of our internet business, we tried to make templates without any help. Even with our experience we found it extremely difficult to do, in fact we were not at all happy with the results. Therefore we recommend using the services of an Affiliated Stylist to make the template for you.

For those of you wanting to make your own templates we suggest using an assistant when making the template, otherwise expecting to get good and accurate results is practically impossible. We know as we have tried!

If you are already using hair replacement then you have probably confided this with someone close to you, so ask for their help.

If you are new to hair systems then please confide in someone. This could be your present hair stylist, a friend, a relative, anyone really, but please seek assistance off someone.

Existing 'in hair' Clients

If you are already 'in hair' (i.e. a hair system wearer) then most likely you will know what templates are and what they are used for. That is why we recommend one of the following options for you:

- Visit one of our Affiliate Stylists and they will make a template for you.

- You make a template.

- Send us your spare template (or a hair system you no longer require) and we will return this to you within 48 hours of receipt. If the hair system you send is comfortable and you are happy with the size and fit then we will replicate this and its contour exactly. Our technicians have mannequins of different head sizes from which we simply find one with the right contour, mark out the perimeter, the front, and take a mould from this.
