BASE MATERIALS USED IN HAIR SYSTEMS

hair4all could design a hair system that would last 3 years, but guess what?... It would look false and more like a woolly hat or a tea-cosy. We at hair4all believe in honesty, sincerity and natural looking hair. We Do Not Create False Looking Hair Systems, and we will NOT give the wrong advice!!!

Please read this page carefully as choosing the correct base material is very important for comfort and durability.

This page serves to inform our clients of what the materials are and why they are used.

When ordering hair4all hair systems you will be given detailed descriptions about the base materials used and we will also contact you to make sure you are happy with your selected base before making your hair replacement.

Skin Hair Systems - Also known as Second Skin Membranes, THR, CTR. These skin hair systems are made of a thin gas permeable co-polymer skin membrane. Individual strands of hair appear to be growing right out of your scalp. Depending on the hair system, hair is either looped or tied one hair at a time into the base of the hair system. The look is very natural. You can have any style with these hair systems. Ideal for daily wear or extended wear. A delicate base will mean two to three hair systems will be needed per calendar year based on extended wear (where 'extended wear' means the hair system is attached to your scalp 24/7). Skin Systems can be attached using Perimeter Bond or Full Head Bond methods.

Lace Hair Systems - Also known as French Lace Hair Systems or Silk Lace Hair Systems. The lace used in hair4all's systems is similar to nylon stockings that are extremely hard to see when placed against the skin. The hair is knotted into the lace and appears to grow right out from the scalp. The frontal area creates a fabulous natural looking hairline. A delicate base material will mean two to three hair systems will be needed a year based on extended wear. Lace Hair Systems can be attached using Perimeter Bond or Full Head Bond methods.

hair4all's recommended base material for the most light weight, breathable, and natural looking hair replacement.

Lace Hair System
Conventional Systems - Polyurethane coated perimeters with nylon base. These hair systems are extremely durable, tough, and easy to maintain. They do limit you in style, typically, if you wear a forward ‘Ceasar look’ then this hair system would be ideal for you. The longevity of these hair systems usually lasts for a full calendar year. Conventional Systems can be attached using Perimeter Bond or Full Head Bond methods.
Conventional Hair System

We can also combine different base materials to create variations, for example we can have a conventional or skin system base with a lace front. This gives a durable hair replacement with a natural hair line at the front. The lace front is replaceable giving extended wear for the overall hair replacement.
